Today...

...we watched neighborhood children play a dodge ball game in the road (they're ruthless... one little girl got a bloody nose)...

drove to Tirana...

...and practiced worship songs for church on Sunday. I thought following a pianist and playing by ear in America was tricky. Try playing songs in another culture, with foreign lyrics. Interesting!

And then for supper, we ate stuffed green peppers, with spicy beef and rice. Now we're off for a walk. Ciao! (we're very near Italy, you know. Most everyone says ciao instead of the Albanian word for goodbye.)

  4. Most of the songs are not familiar, but a few are. I'm in the last photo, playing the violin. Or, veeoleen, as they say here.
