Sunset

Saturday night the visiting mission team went down to Volga, by the sea, to evangelize/hand out tracks. Not my favorite activity in the world, but it's actually easier here than in the States, because your translator does all the talking!
The sunset over the Adriatic was amazing, and we bought hot, freshly deep-fried little donuts from a stand, sprinkled with powdered sugar and drizzled with chocolate. Yum.
It's been nice to have the team from Canada here. For one thing, I've cleared up a misunderstanding about Canadians. Some people say it's a myth that Canadians end every sentence with "eh?," right?
It's not a myth.
They're a very friendly, lively group that laughs easily. But they're not the only Canadians here this week. A family of nine (seven children) is stopping for a few days in Durres; their family is two months into a van-journey from missionary post to missionary post throughout Europe. They've traveled Germany, Austria and Italy, and have two months to go. They are fun to have around, though it makes me a little homesick. The older girls are 17, 14 and 12, and we got to sit outside together yesterday and get to know each other while we watched half the neighborhood (including 3 of their brothers) play soccer in the street.
